Advance Translation—The Remedy to Improve Translatability of Source Questionnaires? Results of a Think-Aloud Study

Advance translation is a method of source questionnaire development for multilingual survey projects to enhance translatability and (inter)cultural portability. The aim minimize issues in the final stage. I empirically tested results previously conducted advance think-aloud study analyzed utterances made mixed-method approach, calculating chi-square statistics cross-checking these by observational notes sessions. My confirms usefulness making items better translate, thus improving quality. It appears be particularly useful comprehensibility text, irrespective target language. recommend that translations carried out into all languages cultures which translated. This will improve and, thus, overall cross-cultural data
